BRABANT HERITAGE TRILOGY CONCLUDED WITH SUCCESSFUL PREMIERE

An overcrowded film house was more than we had hoped for when the third and final of three films about being “Young in Brabant” was shown on October 14th 2011.

In the film a group of children compare their life in their village to the life of 50 years ago.

New footage made by the children is edited with old film footage to create an interesting vision of the changes and similarities of life in the 1960’s and present day life.

Battle of Waterloo wraps production “For Napoleon”

Large scale actions and battles, that was all that was still missing in the compelling story of Joan Derk Ninaber, a Dutch soldier who fought and died in Russia for the French emperor Napoleon. The re-enactment of the battle of Waterloo provided the perfect setting for the final scenes.

Final film Brabant Heritage will premiere in October

Young in Brabant is a provincial project in which young people from different villages film their lives and thereby contrasting present day life to that of fifty years ago.

New location Phalera Filmworks studio

As of this year Phalera Filmworks operates from a new location: VILLAMEDIA.

In VILLAMEDIA filmmakers, graphic designers, musicians, animators, writers, sound designers and specialists in advertising and marketing join forces under one roof.
